I have worked in the courtrooms of Placer County Superior Court Judges Couzens, McElhaney, Nichols, O’Flaherty, Curry, Cosgrove, Garbolino. In El Dorado County Superior Court I have worked in the courtroom of Judges Waggoner and Kingsbury. I am on the Federal Defenders Panel.
Typically I was tasked with the initial assessment of the case including interviews, crime scene analysis, visiting and photographing crime scenes, and determining local experts if needed. I worked closely with the attorney of record during the legal process and particularly when the case went to jury trial. I was in the court room during voir dire and arranged witnesses as the trial progressed.
